So those boys up at Eau Claire sure showed us that they know something about baseball even if they are that close to Canada. After getting beat by one of the best pitchers in the nation in game 1, Austin threw an amazing game to win game 2. That brings us to the final game. It was a thriller, and we had the lead 4-3 with one out to go in the top of the 7th. Then their big hitter crushed a grand slam (along with our hopes and dreams), and sent the blugolds (worst school nickname ever?) to Florida instead of the 'skers. But there's always next year. And I think we all have some sort of revenge on mind...

Good News: I came home from the long 9 hour drive to find that my new track jacket had arrived from across the seas. It fits, and I love it, so that's good. Plus, the Braves have won 5 in a row, and saw Mike Hampton throw a 2 hitter, hit a solo home run, and face one batter above the minimum as they swept the Astro's. But once again, I show my disgust as the jerseys are still horrible, and need to be changed:
