Moving

I thought today was going to be an awful and horrible day. It actually turned out pretty sweet, and The 436 will be grillin' on a new grill here pretty soon. It was the big moving day for Christi as she transitions away from her sorority house, and into her new apt. with Claire and Jenni. I thought it was going to be a long and stressful time, but it actually turned out alright, and went by very quickly.

Big time props for my man Ponec. He came through in the clutch and helped out all morning and afternoon by giving me an extra hand at carrying some of the heavier things up the flights of stairs. It was also nice that my mom came in and surprised Donna and Christi by helping move as well.

Once everything was all said and done, we came back to my place, where I had steaks marinating overnight (yeah, my mouth is starting to drool too!). We got back, drank some beer, and cooked some food. It sure was a lot of fun. Once again, I just can't complain over the summer: Good Times. Good Food. Great Friends and Family.

There shouldn't be a post tomorrow. Soccer at 12:00, then a HUGE labl tournament game at 5:00 for baseball. If we win, we'll be in the semi-final game.
