Fall Break

First, I have to survive the rest of the week, and get all of my stuff done so that I can celebrate fall break. I still have a test to take, components to make for a computer processor, and a homework due. Then we're goin' to hopefully get enough people to come over to our place to watch the Husker-Baylor game (to help pay for the pay-per-view), and then I'll be off to Kansas City (fall break fall-back location).

Early last week, Ben told me that CVK had a vision of driving down to Waco to watch the game in person. I'm sure a ticket down there is cheaper than paying to watch it on TV. So we kind of had this hope that we would make it down there, but it didn't pan out.

Today option #2 came about. Christi, Donna, mom and I are driving down to Kansas City on Monday to look at Christi try on wedding dresses. I know, I know.... everyone is thinking, "wow... what a fun filled fall break Helge...." But it will be fun. It's goin' to be great to see my babe happy and very excited, and it will be fun for the four of us to take a day off and just have fun in a place other than Lincoln or Omaha and relax.
