Good news for my grades

So it goes to show that if you work moderately hard during class, have very long study sessions before homework is due, you won't have to take the final. That's right, no cse 340 final! Apparently my grade was good enough in the class, that my teacher offered me an A+ for a final grade. (Cause for celebration? We'll let you know when the party is...).

Strange News: Apparently in Japan, a woman was sentenced to 6 years in jail, while her "colleague" was set free after they stabbed a woman to death. The reason the man was let go was because he surrendered to the police (oh, what tough punishment in Japan these days...). Ironically, the incident occurred in a subway when the soon to be victim told the cult member that he shouldn't be a part of the rituals anymore because he just couldn't cut it.

New Hero: ZZ Top had it perfectly laid out when they made "Sharp Dressed Man." A smartly dressed Roman man declared for the 97th time that he didn't have enough money to pay for his meal (after he already got done eating). He has been doing the same gig throughout Italy for the past 12 years.
