New updates to the brackets
In my annual quest to see how much time I can dedicate to creating my own online brackets and still be married to my wife, has turned out on the positive side once again this year. Thanks to Ben's ideas for improvement this year, I was able to spice up the brackets:
Leader board page:
www.brianhelge.com/ncaatourney/leaderboard.php?poolid=436challenge09
Now shows possible points left as well as who each person picked to win it all (so you don't have to go back and forth through the brackets to see if you still have a chance).
The bracket page:

If a team loses and you pick them to go further, it will be reflected here. Also, the teams have a background color to easily tell if you have won/loss (unlike the strike through from last year) as well as a percentage of how many people picked the same games as you (when you mouse over your selections.
Now that everything is completely automated, next year might be when we work on the design overhaul ...
First day of the tournament
Just leaving work after 14.5 hours of work on the opening day of the madness. Good thing my employer let me watch basketball all day long to help pass the time.
Now it's time to go home and sleep.
The hunt goes on hold
After teasing ourselves with what we thought was our next home, the wife and I are going to go back into passively looking mode. We thought it would be easier than this to find a nice place in a down market, but then figured out Connecticut really isn't affected like the rest of the country.
Nevertheless, we still have plenty of time to find a place and hopefully with school getting out soon, all of those families will decide to give us a chance to look at some more places that we can eventually call home.
